One to Watch
One To Watch by Macy Butler
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Synopsis
Some things you can’t unsee...And some you don’t want to.
Sally is the antithesis of the naughty librarian fantasy. Conservative and practical,
she doesn’t mind that her wild child sister calls her Vanilla.
She is content in her predictable life, comfortable in her routine.
She loves her husband, and likes her job.
She wouldn’t change a thing…
Until she sees something she shouldn’t have one evening.
Despite feeling terrified that she will be caught,
and ashamed that she likes watching,
she cannot pry her eyes from the sexy scene.
Sally can’t get the sight, and the way it made her feel, out of her head.
A passion awakens that she had forgotten existed.
One To Watch is a standalone in the Dirty Vanilla series. It's a a sultry, safe, sheet-gripping story that will make you believe that Happily Ever After can keep getting better.
Book Review
This was not my typical genre so the content was a little jarring, to say the least. Can we say that opening scene? The primary characters had off the charts chemistry and didn't fail to act on it. The story flowed well and I think for someone who likes erotic romance this would be a 5-star read. It was a scorcher in that respect, but unfortunately, I wasn't pulled in to it only because this is not a genre that I read.
