Synopsis
Trust is the firm belief in reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. In life we often put our trust in the hands of the wrong people. Most of the time those people are the ones we love.

Tonieca Banks is set out to marry the man of her dreams, or so she thought. Christian is her prince charming, her first love, and the man she planned to spend the rest of her life with. She thought they had a fairytale love until the truth came tumbling full force. Leaving her heartbroken and angry. After finding out about his double life, cheating ways, as well as the lies he's told. She's no longer madly in love with the man he portrayed himself to be over the years. She calls it quits on the entire relationship and doesn't look back. Now that someone else is holding her attention. She wonders if she was ever really in love with the man she planned to marry in the first place. However, what she doesn't know is that he doesn't plan to let her go, and will do whatever it takes to keep her by his side.

Tania Banks is nothing like her older sister. She likes to dabble on the wild side and doesn't feel the need to explain the choices she makes in life to anyone. Tania does what she wants without regard to anyone else's feelings but her own. Including tampering with the hearts of two men who are deeply in love with her. Caught up in a deadly love triangle; Tania bites off more than she can chew. Her heart is being pulled into two different directions. Still, she must choose which way she should go. Will she be able to overcome the fatal game she put her heart in. Or will life choose for her. Leaving her scarred with detrimental results in the end.

Demaino Lewis has everything he needs in life and more except someone he can trust to give his heart to. Life of a retired kingpin has been great despite all of the issues he's had to overcome to live the life he's living now. Demaino soon finds someone who captures his eye, calling it fate, the more they run into each other. Their relationship takes off fast and leaves them both perplexed in the midst of it all. The love that blossoms quickly between the two seems so unreal. Yet, so raw with emotion, they have no choice but to give in to it. Love has no limits and time doesn't matter when it comes to the heart. Demaino finds that to be true as he embarks on a journey he never knew existed when it comes to love. However, with danger lurking in the shadows, love might have to take a backseat until all threats have been diminished. After being retired and living a nice quiet life. Demaino has to suit up again in his thug armor to ensure his future endeavors are safe from all hurt, harm, and danger.

Scorned exes, jealous enemies, bruised egos, and hurt pride are all for sure ways to create chaos amongst this group. The love is there, but with all of the drama surrounding them, one has to ask if it's even worth it in the end. Can these individuals overcome the battles that lay ahead? Or will the drama be too much for the damaged hearts in the fight on the frontline of love and trust.

Book Review
The characters were interesting and developed. The situations were relatable. I enjoyed the love/hate dynamic between the sisters.  The couples unknowingly ended up in love triangles with unexpected results.  The story had good movement, a good editing job and an explosive climax. Good job.
