BOOK REVIEW
Tessah, a young woman who used her feminine wiles to secure her "bag". Orphaned at a young age & bounced around from home to home has closed her heart off to love. Kyree, a single dad and "middleman" in the drug game, could do without a woman that has her hand in someone else's pockets. On the surface, these two appear like oil and water until one traumatic event changes the way they see each other.
The author did a great job of developing the characters, the plot, providing relevant content and an expertly structured depiction of black love and romance. The supporting cast provided a bit of drama and hilarity at times that kept the plot moving along. Romance lovers are going to enjoy the journey to love with Tessah and Kyree and the cutest three-year-old ever. Also, this reader will never look at timbs, a wig or an apron quite the same again.
